This church, of Romanesque origin, is located 350 meters above sea level, in a mountain pass in the middle of the Gavarres massif. It is a route of medium difficulty, with a difference in level of about 200 meters and slopes of up to 5%. The route will also offer you some impressive panoramas of the plains of La Selva and of Baix Empordà, as well some stunning cork and oak forests. From Santa Pellaia you can go back down to Cassà or continue your route to Sant Sadurní de l'Heura, Cruïlles and the Bisbal.
